Toni Kroos insists he respects Real Madrid but does not feel they will spring any surprises in Wednesday's Champions League semi-final.
The midfielder is set to be part of the Bayern Munich side that will face the Spanish giants at the Bernabeu in the first leg of their last-four showdown. Bayern have been tipped to defend their European crown this year but face a Real side that is oozing with attacking flair and riding high in the La Liga standings. The 24-year-old Kroos is prepared for tough examination in the Spanish capital but feels the work done by coach Pep Guardiola means he and his team-mates will be ready for anything that Carlo Ancelotti's men have to offer. "I don't think Madrid will be able to surprise us," he told Bild. "Our coach knows all about Madrid and has given us a lot of advice. "But they can hurt any opponent with the individual quality they have, even when they don't do anything surprising. They can still be dangerous without surprising you."
